The area around Asakusa is noteworthy for being able to provide a multifaceted Tokyo experience within a surprisingly narrow area. Many tourists from both inside and outside of Japan visit Asakusa to experience its rich cultural heritage.

We suggest a half day trip starting from the Thunder Gate (雷门) entrance of the Sensoji Temple (浅草寺) which will lead you through the famous shopping street of Nakamise Dori to the historic Sensoji Temple itself.

From Sensoji Temple, about 20 minutes walk, pay a visit to Kappabashi Street (かっぱ橋道具街) where you finds shops selling tools and props for street vendors or eateries like Plastic Display Food, Pots & Pans, Cutleries, Chopsticks. It is interesting to find how dedicate some of these plastic display props are made e.g. "Bowl of Ramen" that it looks exactly like the real one

The last destination of the trip is the Sumida Park that is located around 20 minutes walking from Asakusa. This is a must-go place during the Cherry Blossom season
